Sénart 70 offers a mid-distance route with minimal climbing and a change of scenery from the typical Chevreuse or Marne loops.

The first 40 km closely follow one of my Fontainebleau routes, heading along the Marne and climbing up through Sucy-en-Brie. This is a pretty flat ride, with just two climbs and one small bump. After the initial climb, you make your way to the Sénart Forest. At the 40 km mark, the route diverges from the Fontainebleau path and heads north back through the forest. After that, you follow the most direct route back to Paris along the Seine. While not the most scenic section, it's efficient and keeps the mileage down, all while still giving you some forest riding earlier in the ride.
At kilometer 64, you cross the Marne via a bridge and rejoin the quai for a quick cruise back to the café.
