This 83 km route heads southwest and tackles one of the most popular and steep climbs in the region according to climbfinder.

The route heads out of Paris along the quai toward Sèvres, then cutting up toward the Bois de Fausses-Reposes. After cruising through the forest, you pass through Versailles and make your way up past the Buc aqueduct. From there, you head west across to Guyancourt before snaking your way to the tiny village of Milon-la-Chapelle.

There’s a water fountain at the base of the climb if you need it. Otherwise, you’ll cross through Saint-Rémy, where you can do a full restock a few kilometers later.

The climb itself is only 500 meters, but it averages over 11% and peaks above 15%. It’s a "fun" and punchy little climb.

After the climb, you drop down into the Chevreuse Valley and make your way to Châteaufort. From there, you cut across open fields and descend into Jouy-en-Josas, before climbing back out and taking the typical way back through Meudon and along the Seine.

This route offers a change of roads and scenery plus a sharp little climb, all within a manageable 83 km.
