This route takes The Other Way to Versailles and extends it. It only adds about 15km, but a significant amount of climbing as well. This route covers a lot of the classics, but puts them together in an order you are probably not used to.

Cyclist rides under stone arches on a road in Versailles; overlay map reads The Other Way to Versailles, Paris, 59 km, 485 m

The first 38km are exactly the same as The Other Way to Versailles. Heading out of the city through the Bois de Boulogne, following the Fairytale route, and then cutting south back towards Versailles. Once you make it to the Château, instead of heading home, you make a right turn and climb up towards Buc like you are heading towards Chevreuse. At the top of the aqueduct, you drop down to Jouy-en-Josas and make your way across the valley towards Bièvres. Then you climb back out past the airbase before making your way to Meudon and the final climb up and over to drop back into Paris and finish things off like usual along the Quai.

This route really feels different yet familiar at the same time. It's nice to have a 75km ride that doesn't feel repetitive compared to the shorter and longer rides you would normally do in this area.
