East 82 is a great option if you’re looking for an easy ride around 80km with minimal climbing.

The route heads out along the quai toward the Marne. Instead of doing the full loop, you cut across just past the Bois de Vincennes. From there, you cruise along the river until about the 25 km mark. At that point, you climb out of the river valley and make your way to the Château de Champs-sur-Marne. The château is a beautiful 18th-century building that you can sneak a good look at from the road as you continue on. By 37 km, you’ve completed most of the climbing for the ride and enter the Forêt de Ferrières. The route continues through the forest and surrounding villages before you roll into the Forêt de Notre-Dame. You’ll hit a section of incredibly smooth unpaved road here, but it’s 100% rideable on any road bike and tire so don't worry.
After that, you drop back down and rejoin the second half of the Marne loop for a classic finish. The route passes right by the base of the Polygon, so if you’re not quite done, you can always tack on as many laps as you'd like before a quick cruise back to the café.
