This route is almost a typical Chevreuse ride but with a small twist. You still get the punchy Milon-la-Chapelle climb, but instead of dropping into the Chevreuse city center, you turn back toward Paris.

You head out along the quai, skip the tunnel, and climb up through Clamart—pretty standard for rides in this direction. The route continues on familiar roads as you make your way south and eventually descend into the Chevreuse valley. You pass through Gif and then Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse before cutting north toward Milon-la-Chapelle. As soon as you make the left-hand turn, the climb hits: a short 500 m effort that averages 11%, with the second half pushing over 15%.
After tackling that punchy section, you start working your way back toward the city, linking up with the usual 17 turns return route. Near Buc, the route cuts east and drops into Jouy-en-Josas, avoiding Versailles. From Jouy, you climb back out through Meudon and then drop down to the river for a straightforward cruise back to the café.
This is a solid ride of just under 90 km and works well for a weekend group outing. It’s similar to other Chevreuse options, but the small variations help keep it interesting.
